Media Law Introduction/Refresher, Wednesday, March 1
This course will cover Libel – including the reforms of the Defamation Act 2013, Contempt of Court, reporting restrictions, copyright, privacy and the changes introduced to press regulation by IPSO, the Independent Press Standards Organisation. It will be suitable for those writing for online or print publications and will cover the law as it applies to social media. It will run from 1pm to 5pm in the King’s Cross area of London.
